To transform this 3-room apartment, several modifications were made to the original layout: the existing kitchen was rearranged to become an additional bedroom, and a half-rounded opening was created between the entrance and the living room. The purpose of this architectural modification was to create a greater perspective, and visually open up the apartment, making it brighter and more spacious. The cubbyhole was removed to accommodate the dining area bench, and the bathroom was reconfigured to include a shower.
